Abstract

School education is a suitable place for students to form a character so that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is needed in this level of education because it can help develop aspects of the knowledge, attitudes and skills possessed by each student. In the 2013 curriculum learning, the assessment is carried out from all aspects of each student and not only from the academic aspect. The 2013 curriculum is also applied to schools in Sumedang. To give awards to students who have high scores in academic and non-academic aspects, determine the role model students in the 2013 curriculum learning period to determine one student who can be used as an example for other students. In determining exemplary students, the assessment carried out is still objective in that the self-assessment is from several aspects and not from all aspects that are owned by each student because the assessment is carried out directly by the teacher. To simplify and provide a more accurate assessment, a Decision Support System with the Weighted Product method is needed to assist in calculating the determination of exemplary students using two main criteria, namely academic and non-academic as well as sub-criteria of each existing criterion.
