Problems that occur, two-wheeled vehicle security is very vulnerable to theft, so it is necessary to feature a vehicle safety tool against crime. Safety system standard provided by several manufacturers of motorcycle vehicle manufacturers is the key handlebar. Handlebar lock made still has weaknesses.
The method used in this research is by Research and Development, covering the stages of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, trial use, potential problems, mass products.
The results obtained from research conducted is a motorcycle safety device that utilizes the owner's fingerprint, a system made based on a microcontroller.
The conclusion that can be drawn from this discussion is how to design and build a motorcycle safety system by utilizing the owner's fingerprints, the motorcycle will light up if the fingerprints are in accordance with those previously entered.
