Abstract

Parents' busyness is usually a major factor in children's development at school, therefore many parents do not know what violations their children have committed while at school. The purpose of this research is to convey information from the school to the parents of students about violations and to make it easier for parents to monitor their children. The method used in design and development in this study is the prototype method, while the questionnaire testing method uses validity and reliability tests. For testing the system in this study using the blackbox method so that it knows which functions are running and not running on the system. The programming language used is React Native. The results achieved were monitoring student violations used by parents on their respective smartphones. Parents of students will get a special notification in the form of a warning if their child commits an offense that has exceeded the limit or falls into the unsafe category. The conclusions obtained in this study are the android-based student violation monitoring application can help schools convey information on violations, as well as assist schools and teachers in disciplining their students.
