Abstract

Motorcycles are still the vehicle that is most in demand by the Indonesian people as a means of transportation, but motorcycles are very vulnerable to theft or burglary due to inadequate security systems. The current security system is only a handlebar lock and remote. So it is necessary to have a vehicle security tool against criminal acts, especially theft. The method used in this study is Research and Development, covering potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision, usage trials, potential problems, mass products. The result of the research is a motorcycle safety system device using a relay as engine control. With this security system, users can feel safe from theft
