Abstract

Internet of Things technology in the present era has pushed human life to automate things. Today's automated devices mostly use a microcontroller as a controller. No exception to people who like to keep fish in an aquarium that can use tools as a helper for ease of use. Maintaining ornamental fish is quite complicated, besides the feed that must be considered, the pH of water must also be considered because the pH of water plays a role in creating a comfortable and safe environmental condition for ornamental fish so that it can help the resistance of ornamental fish, the pH or potential of hydrogen is the degree acidity. The value ranges from 1-14, and the pH of neutral water is 7. Below that number is acid, while above that number is alkaline. Type of ornamental fish is classified as a safe water Ph value of 6-7. Internet of Things technology can be used as an auxiliary tool for easy automatic water checking of pH in the aquarium which is accompanied by the action of adding acid or alkaline liquid to neutralize the aquarium water if the Ph of water is not detected in a neutral state then there is a notification via the mobile telegram application. The Telegram-based automatic aquarium water Ph monitoring system design model using the NodeMCU Esp8266 microcontroller uses the application of the prototyping methodology with the stages of needs analysis, system design, prototyping, and system testing
