Abstract

A decision support system is a system to assist someone in making decisions in semi-structured situations. Decision support systems (DSS) are intended to be a tool for decision makers to expand their capabilities, but not to replace their judgment. DSS is intended for decisions that require judgment or decisions that cannot be supported by the algorithm at all. One of them is to determine the type of superior rice seeds by using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with the criteria of soil, geographical location and weather. The results of this study will produce a form of decision support system modeling in determining the type of superior rice seeds with the highest weight value from the results of the calculation method used.
