Website-Based information System Design using View Controller Model Architecture with Codeigniter Framework

Abstract

It is undeniable that technology has a very big role in the development of the times. Technology with all its advantages and disadvantages is able to make changes in every aspect of life. So far, the Clinic in Cimalaka District in carrying out all activities related to the performance of daily services has not been maximized and is still manual with recording in a book and is less effective in terms of updating information. This is due to the absence of information technology and information systems that are in harmony. Therefore we need a website-based information system design. in this study using the MVC architecture (Model, View, Controller) with the CodeIgniter Framework. This designed information system creates effectiveness and efficiency/results from activities, which include making it easier to obtain information anytime and anywhere and can assist in their daily performance and have a foundation in policies including goals/objectives.
